Within 30 years, the HAHN Automation Group developed from a small design of an engineering office in the Hunsrück region to a global group of companies. Thomas Hähn founded the company “Hähn Engineering” in his garage in 1992. This later gave rise to HAHN Automation, which opened its first foreign location in the USA, only eight years after incorporation. In 2014, RSBG SE joined HAHN Automation as a strong partner, which at that time already employed 350 people at seven locations.
The HAHN Automation Group was founded in 2017 and serves as a platform for the further development of the group’s companies. These retained their independence and benefited from the synergies, exchange and expertise of the Group.
In 2023, the HAHN Group finally merged all the individual brands of the worldwide corporate network into one global solution partner for factory automation – the HAHN Automation Group.
