At the NPE2024 the HAHN Automation Group will present various applications examples from the Electronics and Medtech sectors.
The team from Hahn Automation is at the NPE for the first time. A particular area of their expertise is the insertion of metal components into injection mold. With this technology, individual metal components, usually metal contacts made of copper with an alloy, must first be punched, bent and prepared. These metal contacts are then picked up and precisely inserted into the injection mold. In the injection molding machine, these contacts are over molded with plastic so that a connector can be removed, tested, labelled and packaged fully automatically at the end. The technology is used in the Automotive and Industrial Electronics sectors, for example in the production of connectors, housings for sensors and actuators, busbars and coil formers. (…)
