At the beginning of June, HAHN Automation Group Croatia proudly celebrated its tenth anniversary. Founded in 2014 in Sveta Nedelja near Zagreb, this branch of the German group of the same name has laid the cornerstone of industrial automation in Southeastern Europe.
“We are proud of the extraordinary development we have achieved in the past decade. Although the majority of the project work takes place in Germany, some of the most advanced manual stations and complex automated production lines are ultimately assembled here in Croatia before reaching the facilities of numerous partners from the automotive industry,” said Petar Krznar, Director of HAHN Automation Group Croatia.
A Decade of Automation in Southeastern Europe
As pioneers of automation in the region, the Croatian company joined the HAHN Automation Group, a global leader in industrial automation, to expand its expertise in Southeast Europe. The local team comprised of specialized mechatronics, automation engineers, and constructors is part of the 1,800 experts employed across 20 locations worldwide.
"Our global team currently operates more than 3,600 production lines for 900 customers in the automotive, electronics and medical technology industries. Each machine we create is unique and tailored to customer requirements, making it crucial for our employees to have access to the latest technologies,” said Marko Klinec, Production Manager. He emphasized their commitment to fostering young talents through partnerships with high schools and colleges and promoting continuous training for employees across the globe – from Germany and Mexico to the USA and China.
Reflecting on the Past and Planning for the Future
Over the past 10 years, HAHN Automation Group Croatia has made significant contributions not only to the industry but also as a local employer. This milestone was celebrated in a relaxed setting with employees and their partners.
"If it weren't for our employees and their families, we wouldn't be where we are today. While we regularly host barbecues, family activities, humanitarian campaigns, and other internal events, we wanted this anniversary to honor our staff in every aspect," explained Krznar. He added that it was a special honor to present awards to employees who have been with HAHN from the very beginning, celebrating a decade of dedication and growth.
