The four HAHN companies at the Rheinböllen site are part of the HAHN Automation Group’s major new brand presence: Under the new brand and with a new look, the former HAHN Group is bringing together all the individual brands of the corporate network worldwide to form a global solution partner for factory automation.
The unified brand visibly brings together the strength and size of the group: The HAHN Automation Group stands for industry-specific know-how, an extensive project portfolio, and a global organization with a focus on providing service all from a single source. The group offers customers, particularly in the automotive, consumer goods, electronics, and medtech industries, relevant technologies and customized equipment solutions necessary to automate their production and make it more efficient.
Local ties, global perspectives
HAHN Automation, HAHN Robotics, HAHN Machining as well as HAHN Group itself are four of more than ten established brands of the company network at the Rheinböllen site alone. They stand for innovative solutions in automation and robotics as well as construction with the utmost care.
Besides competitive advantages on the market, the uniform brand presence as the HAHN Automation Group will also bring together benefits of the individual companies and the group for employees.
With over 600 employees, the group of companies at the Rheinböllen site is one of the major employers in the region. In order to be able to attract skilled workers in the future, the company invests locally in the attractiveness of its workplaces. At the same time, the promotion and training of young people is a fundamental part of the corporate philosophy. From the Training and Education Center for up to 100 apprentices and students, to 12,000 square meters of assembly space and modern offices, the course has been set for successful future projects in Rheinböllen.
With the merger as HAHN Automation Group, there are further promising perspectives for employees in addition to the regionally attractive working environment. The group-wide harmonization of systems, processes and workflows created the prerequisites for being able to implement cross-industry, cross-location and cross-country cooperation as well as exchange programs more easily. Employee benefits and advantages can be rolled out globally thanks to the closer integration of the companies.
Transparency in the market
Maintaining individual brands within the group meant a high level of complexity, both internally and externally. Previously the brands each represented, like the companies in Rheinböllen, very specific industries, technologies, or local employers within their respective economic regions. Operating as one brand will provide a clear, united message and better allow for competitive advantages such as financial stability, increased capacity, and better support for global projects.
This rebranding is the first step and provides visual clarity while positioning the HAHN Automation Group as one strong, global brand. Becoming the HAHN Automation Group enables 1,800 employees across 22 locations worldwide work on custom solutions—from manual stations to semi-automated cells and full production lines—and provides customers with a global network of 120 service professionals for fast response times and local contacts.
